this is my story. my past. the reason i’m who i am today.
— im an accident. i’m not even supposed to be here right now.
— since the day i was born, my parents had to work 24/7 (both my parents were ER doctors) so i rarely got to see them. the most i would see my parents was 2 hours a day.
— then my sister was born when i was 2 and then my brother when i was 4. congrats mom and dad, you added two more kids you can’t take care of.
— at the age of 3, i was almost abducted and a total stranger saved my life. till this day, i still don’t know who saved me.
— at the age of 5, i started to compete in swim. a lot of people said i had my daddy’s strength and determination to win. Ever since, i’ve always had the passion for swim. Never could join a year-round though because my parents wouldnt pay.
— my brother fell into my backyard pool and drownedall because of me. I wasn’t paying attention and the next thing I know i’m dragging him out of a pool. my dad gave him CPR, and brought him back to life. This is important to me because my brother is now my bestfriend and I honestly have no idea what I’d do without him.
— at the age of 6, my parents became dermatologist and opened up a business in my hometown and Beverly Hills. again, they were rarely home and they basically ‘abandon’ me to take care of my 4 and 2 year old siblings. i cooked and cleaned and i asked my neighbors to take us places we couldnt get to on our own.
— at the age of 9 is where things really took a turn. i became mom (not literally). my siblings only could remember my parents face when they saw pictures of them. i cooked, cleaned, and walked them to places where they couldn’t walk to themselves.
— at the age of 10, the doctors gave my really close family friend’s son the wrong medicine and he killed himself. this is where i realized how much lying hurt when it has to do with a family member. Rest In Peace Uncle Eric
— my mom and I traveled to China to adopt who is now my older sister and probably one of the biggest changes in my life. Her name is Dahlia. We adopted her when she was 14 and now she’s in college with a great job(s), friends, and a future. I’m proud of you.
— at age 12 , eventually, all of that swimming paid off. 2009, 3rd place out of 20, ranked butterflier in Orange County. never give up on yourself and just keep going or in my case, just keep swimming♥
— at the age of 14, I lost another friend. not to suicide but from a drunk driving accident. it was a peaceful ride home and out of no-where, a drunk driver hit her and the 4 other passengers. The sweetest and most beautiful girl alive named Ashton Hunter Sweet died at 14. she lived up to her last name she was so young. she’s the age of a lot of users on tumblr. she will be loved, missed, and remembered forever and always.
Rest In Paradise Ashton Hunter Sweet
— in the month of june, i went to a program called “Klemmer and Associates”. it is honestly the most incredible program the world has ever known. I met people who went through the same situation and sometimes even worse situations. It was definitely one of those things that changed my life for the better.

— age 15. The least expected person in my life became my bestfriend…and now he’s my amazing boyfriend. It’s funny how hatred can eventually grow into love if you give it time. He’s put up with so much of my shit and I give him props, but I don’t remember a time when feeling loved felt so great.

it’s been a while since i’ve updated my tumblr, but here i am again. It’s been like 5 months since i’ve been on this. I’ve changed schools, made new friends and lost some, got an amazing boyfriend that has changed my life, my mom and I are what we thought would never happen; we’re bestfriends, and i changed for the better…well most of it. I realized that the older you get, the less opportunity you have to enjoy yourself; so here’s my piece of advice:
” laugh and smile. those are the only two things in life that will 1. make you successful.
2. keep you at rise above all the sadness and anger of others and yourself
3. make you and other people happy. “

i’m 15 and my life couldn’t be more perfect. Sure I have some ups and downs, but just make sure that whatever you do, makes you INCREDIBLY happy. Your downs will only last for as long as you make it worth.
NEVER try to take your life by force because who knows, 20 years from that day, you’d be thankful you didn’t take your life.
I’m here for you.
Trust me, i’ve been through more than you think.
